openChromeBank is a Chrome extension designed to enhance your experience with openQbank. This policy describes how the extension interacts with your data. In short: the extension does not store any of your data.

• Authentication: It uses your existing openQbank session cookies to authenticate directly with the openQbank server. It does not store or log your credentials.
• Page Content: When you use the "Solve" or "Explain" features, the extension reads the text of the question currently displayed on your screen. This text is sent transiently to the openQbank server for analysis and is not retained by the extension.

3. Proxy Architecture

The openChromeBank extension operates strictly as a proxy interface. It does not have its own backend database or storage.

all requests are routed through the openQbank application infrastructure (specifically the utils/extension_routes.py endpoints). The extension merely acts as a bridge between your browser window and your secure openQbank account.

4. No Data Storage

We do not store any user information.

The extension does not maintain a database of user profiles, browsing history, or question data. All data processing occurs on the openQbank server in real-time response to your actions, and no personal data is persisted specifically for the extension's operation beyond standard server access logs required for security and maintenance.

All communication between the extension and the openQbank server is secured via HTTPS/SSL. Your openQbank credentials are never exposed to third parties, and the extension relies on the security of the main openQbank platform.
